RAACHE is blessed to partner with Graham Photography as they provide families the opportunity to purchase annual school picture packages. This usually occurs around the second or third week of October. Picture pick up day is slated for mid-November.
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
Beginning in late fall, students who are currently being homeschooled and have been members of RAACHE for at least three high school years gather together with other families to start planning the May graduation ceremony. In this uniquely special event, parents bless their students as they present them with their diplomas.
EVENING OF MUSIC AND RECITATION
We offer wonderful, non-intimidating fall and winter semester opportunities for students to share through music or memory with others. These evenings, typically held at a senior center or nursing home, provide practice in poise and articulation.
We provide vocal opportunities for children 5 years of age through high school. At the younger levels, two age appropriate non-auditioned choirs provide familiarization of music, vocal blending, and group participation in concerts and in an annual musical drama. From 12 years of age and up, students have the opportunity to audition for one of two choirs. At this level, commitment to attendance and practice is required. These students engage with a variety of musical styles, continue to learn musical performance skills, and perform in concerts, competitions, and tours.
ANNUAL SCIENCE FAIR AND PROJECT DAY
Early each spring, students have the opportunity to showcase their science projects, collections, models, book reports, and other projects to family, friends and the community.
HOME SCHOOL ICE SKATING
Homeschool ice skating is available at the Recreation Center on Elton Hills Drive and Broadway from January through March on Friday afternoons. A nominal fee is required. Look for more information in the newsletter as we draw closer to the season.
